Note fra Alistair Hart:
The distillery was founded in 1779 in the village of Bowmore in the middle of Islay right on the sea shore. The water used rises from iron-tinged rock and travels through peat, moss, ferns and rushes, before reaching the distillery.
Bowmore is the most exposed distillery on the Island. During winter months the westerly wind and high waves come battering against the walls of the distillery.

This Limited Edition Bowmore is bottled at natural cask strength.
A dark reddish brown robe with a delicate fruity sherry nose.
A refined oily malt, oaky, slightly smoky and bitter.
A long sweet and dry finish.
